Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K Review: Must-Have Car Accessory?

dashcam for  buses  is  sluggishly  getting a necessary accessory in India. Not only is it useful to record  videotape  substantiation in case of an accident, but also to  give  evidence when you need to claim insurance or issue acounter-complaint against incorrect business tickets. Some might also use a dashcam to record  graphic   locales on a road trip. While some  gusto cameras are available at an affordable price, they tend to compromise on  videotape quality and features. Qubo, a Hero Group company, has launched its Dashcam Pro 4K in India as a  decoration offering underRs. 10,000.   The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K not only claims to  give high- quality  videotape footage but also comes with several handy features. The company  transferred us its binary camera model, which features both the front and  hinder cameras along with other accessories. Should you consider buying the Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K? Then's our full review to help you decide.     Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K's display can be used to watch the rearview  videotape feed as well( binary- cam pack)   Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K price in India  The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K is available in India atRs. 9,990, which includes just the front- facingcamera. However,  also the quintet along with its accessories will bring you Rs, If you want the  hinder camera pack. 12,990.   The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K is  relatively compact. Its wide, blockish shape makes the black- coloured camera look like it's a part of the auto's innards( your experience may vary), and it does not obstruct your view too much. Theultra-wide camera detector is located on the front of the device, while the  reverse features a2.8- inch viewfinder, which can also be to used to switch between  colorful modes and settings. It isn't a touchscreen and to  pierce these modes, you have four  devoted buttons on the bottom of the camera.   The left side of the device has the power and reset buttons whereas on the right side, you have amini-USB  harborage for connecting the  frontal camera to the 12V charging socket. Next to the connector  harborage is a microSD card  niche. There's amicro-USB  harborage on the top of the device that's used to connect to the  hinder camera. The box contains a 12V power  appendage, long  lines for the front and  hinder cameras, suction mount, a pry tool, and a bond card.    The  hinder camera is sort of spherical in shape with one side being flat. The right corner has a 360- degree hinge cover that allows you to acclimate the camera angle while mounting it on the auto's  face. Unlike the  frontal camera, the  hinder camera doesn't bear a suction mount as it attaches via double- sided  tenacious tape recording.     The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K can be paired with a 1080p  hinder camera     Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K features  As the name suggests, the Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K delivers a 4K resolution  videotape feed. still, it isn't true 4K as the 8- megapixel Sony IMX415 detector is actually recording in 1080p and upscaling it to 4K. The  frontal camera has an f/1.8  orifice which claims to help capture high- quality  vids with a 140- degree field of view indeed in low light. The camera is also said to use a digital noise reduction algorithm to reduce noise. The  voluntary  hinder camera can only record in 1080p.    The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K also supports Advanced  motorist-  backing systems, also known as ADAS, which has been a recent trend in the  machine assiduity. The device uses  erected- in AI systems and real- time  videotape for  colorful ADAS- related functions  similar as Lane Departure Warning System, Forward Vehicle Motion Detection, and Forward Collision Warning System. The Dashcam Pro 4K has  erected- in GPS to geotag the footage and also directly view your driving route and speed.     The Qubo Pro app has multiple tabs to  pierce and control  colorful features     You can enable or disable the ADAS- related features on the device by using the buttons. Alternately, you can use the Qubo Pro app. The app's  stoner interface is  relatively simple and easy to use. You can tweak  colorful device- related settings within the app including enabling or disabling audio, parking mode, jolt triggers, etc. Installing the app is a must as it's a more accessible medium for transferring  prints and  vids from the camera to your phone.   The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K supports any Class 10 SD card up to 1TB.However, it'll  cancel aged footage and replace it with the live feed, If the  storehouse is full. In case you want to save some of the aged footage, it's stylish to transfer it to your device with the help of the app.     Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K has a microSD card  niche on the right side for storing  videotape recordings     The app also provides the option to enable TimeLapse recording, checking footage of  colorful events,  similar as “ jolts ” or “ ride  launch/ stopped ”. The device marks an event as a “ jolt ” whenever the auto goes on a big bump or pothole at a  vastly high speed. The dashcam, while recording the event, informs the  stoner with a tone. It also notifies the  stoner when the auto breaches a set speed limit.   Transferring recorded footage from the camera to the phone requires a many  way. First, you need to  drop through the timeline and  elect the starting timestamp of the  videotape. Next, you can choose to screen record the exact section you wish to save or download it straight down. The Qubo Pro app will let you download one  nanosecond  vids for over to three  twinkles, which will be saved within the Gallery section of the app. To save a  videotape on your phone's native gallery app, you need to  elect the  vids you want to save and tap on the share icon at the bottom to download them.   Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K performance  Daylight  videotape performance of the Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K's  frontal camera is  relatively good as I could see and read the number plates of a couple of  buses  ahead of me. I'm  pertaining to number plates specifically as the footage can be  largely useful in case of an accident. Anything beyond three  measures is  generally not as detailed, but I would not anticipate any better from a auto  gusto camera, to be honest.   At one point during the review, we did notice the transferred footage freezing and skipping frames when saving it on the phone,  still this was  substantially due to us using a slower Class 10 memory card. After notifying Qubo about this issue, the company recommended( and  packed  one for this review) a UHS- III( U3) Class 10 memory card, which did  break the issue. speeding a microSD card along with the dashcam should have been an option in my opinion, or least have a disclaimer on the website to  warn buyers of which specific microSD card they should be buying.     In case you wish to use the camera for recording  vids on your road trip, it does quite a decent job with colours but the dynamic range isn't as good in harsh lighting conditions. For  similar recordings,  perhaps you could calculate on  commodity like a GoPro or your phone's camera.   Some of the aged  gusto cameras that I've used have  plodded with in low- light situations. The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K surprised me with enough decent overall exposure. It does tend to blow out the highlights, particularly the  shells where the ray of the auto headlights fall on, but the footage is  relatively useable.   ADAS- related features worked enough well. The camera  incontinently  urged me with an audio alert when the vehicle in front of me or a rambler was in close range of my auto. The  point, although useful from a safety perspective, can be  relatively annoying when driving through  megacity business. I chose to disable it after a couple of  passages.   The  hinder camera can record only 1080p resolution  vids. I did notice that by  dereliction, this camera glasses the footage it records, anyhow of the  exposure. The overall  videotape quality is obviously not as good as the  frontal camera but is  clearly usable to see the number plate or details of the auto right behind yours.   Thepost-sales service of Qubo  sounded enough helpful too. I called the helpline a couple of times for product- related queries, including one where I wanted to understand the features and the service representative, without knowing who I was, managed to answer all my queries  relatively satisfactorily. Qubo also says that it'll replace the product if the  stoner  gests  any manufacturing- related issues within the bond period.   Verdict  The Qubo Dashcam Pro 4K can be considered if you're on the lookout for a good dashcam which offers  numerous features. The  frontal camera capturesultra-wide footage with decent details. The design too is  relatively neat and you also get all the  needed accessories in the box. The only  strike is that the device is slightly more  precious than some of the  druthers
available online.   PriceRs. 12,990(  frontal  reverse cameras)   Pros   Compact design  point-rich  Wide field of view of the front and  hinder camera  Full range of accessories  whisked with the camera  client care service  Cons   Slightly  precious  App experience could be better
