ColorOS 14 and Oppo: what's new and when you can get it

   Say “ hello ” to Oppo’s  rearmost ColorOS. The global beta version of ColorOS 14 has  formerly started rolling out in certain regions, the Oppo Find N2 Flip will be the first to get the stable version inmid-November. Then’s what’s new in version 14.   We ’ll start with the upgraded Trinity Engine. ROM Vitalization compresses app and file data and can save up to 20 GB of storage on a typical phone. RAM Vitalization swaps out Android’s RAM mechanism with one that’s more  complete, especially at keeping background apps in RAM. The third and final component, CPU Vitalization, balances the chipset’s performance and power usage.   
  
ColorOS now features a Smart Charging system that uses an AI algorithm to set the charging current based on whether you ’re using the phone and how. This is intended to reduce battery wear and tear.   Picture Keeper is added to the list of privacy features. This adds an  redundant permission for accessing select photos and  vids on your device. Speaking of, Smart Image Matting can now crop out multiple people and animals out of a photo or a still frame from an image.  The new Smart Touch helps you select text, images and  vids from native and third- party apps and collect them in the File Dock. The File Dock is like a clipboard that lets you stash content for after use. This is synced between ColorOS devices, so things you ’ve saved with Smart Touch on, say, an Oppo Pad are available on your phone too.  Snapchat users now get special treatment. They can put the Snapchat shortcut on the lockscreen for faster access. Also, there's a Snapchat widget for the Shelf, which gives you at-a-glance updates on new messages and statuses and indeed the location of your closest friends.  

  Oppo updated the look and feel of the user interface too with polished, standardized elements. The so- called Aqua Dynamic design is a collection of common bubbles, capsules and panels that pop up from the status bar to display functionality with  minimum distraction.  Also, the status bar and on- screen content are now painted by the Aquamorgraphic Colouring system that matches that picks the most suitable hues for the time ofday.Oppo added a new Go Green style to the Always On Display. You can also use Bitmoji stickers that will automatically update throughout the day based on where you are, what you ’re doing, the weather and other context.  Then’s the rollout schedule for the Global Beta Version of ColorOS 14. Note that the exact timing will vary by region and carrier.

  Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 will come with 15% faster CPU, 50% up powerful GPU   Qualcomm announced its  rearmost midrange 7 series chipset for mobile devices with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. While the naming may imply this is a successor to the SD 7 Gen 2 or SD 7s Gen 2, the new chip slots between the two  forenamed SoCs. SD 7 Gen 3 is fabbed on TSMC’s 4nm process technology and features a 1 3 4 CPU package. The Kryo CPU brings a  high core clocked at2.63 GHz, alongside 3 x performance cores@2.4 Ghz and 4 x  effectiveness cores@1.8 GHz.  Qualcomm claims a 15 improvement in CPU performance and 50 faster Adreno GPU compared to last year’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip. The 7 Gen 3 chip is also stated to offer 20 power savings based on Qualcomm’s tests.      The Qualcomm Hexagon NPU inside the SD 7 Gen 3 should offer 60 faster AI performance per watt over SD 7 Gen 1. The Adreno GPU supports OpenGL ES3.2, OpenCL2.0 FP and Vulkan1.3 APIs.  The new Qualcomm chip also brings support for over to 4K resolution

  Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, high performance   A  famed tipster on X shared some  racy details surrounding the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is rather odd because we have  slightly indeed seen the  lately released Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in action. But the tipster's leaks so far have been  substantially accurate, so we've a reason to believe the report.  According to@Tech_Reve, Qualcomm will  formerly again rely solely on TSMC for making the 3nm- based Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset coming year. Reportedly, the chip designer has decided to bet on TSMC  formerly again because it's planning to use custom Oryon CPU cores and does not want to compromise power and efficiency with the new set of cores. You could say that Qualcomm just is not convinced with Samsung's yields or performance.   still, a binary chip sourcing strategy is still on the cards for 2025 when the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 comes out, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy will be produced at Samsung's foundry
