MediaTek Dimensity 8300 will come next week

   Following the launch of its flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset, MediaTek is now gearing up to advertise a more affordable SoC with the Dimensity 8300. The  forthcoming chip is  verified to launch on Tuesday, November 21 at 3PM Beijing time( 7AM UTC) and its introduction will be livestreamed on Weibo.  Reports from China suggest that the 8300 may adopt a 1 3 4 architecture with ARMv9 cores  analogous to the Dimensity 9300 but with slightly toned- down cores and clock speeds. Rumors claim a Cortex- X3  high core clocked at2.8 GHz working alongside 3x Cortex- A715 performance cores@2.4 Ghz and 4x Cortex- A510 efficiency cores@1.6 GHz.   The GPU side is expected to be handled by the Mali G52 MC6 humming at 850 MHz frequency. Dimensity 8300 will  probably be fabbed on TSMC’s N4P4nm process.
