Steam Deck OLED is coming with HDR and long battery life

   Valve launched the Steam Deck handheld gaming PC back in 2021, and now it's eventually time for a refresh. The new Steam Deck OLED is then, and the name gives away its main upgrade. No more LCD screens, you get an OLED this time around, with HDR support no  lower, and the capability to go up to 1,000 nits in brightness while of course showing the deep blacks OLEDs are known for.   Steam Deck OLED is then with HDR and better battery life  The Steam Deck OLED will become available on November 16 at 10 AM Pacific. You can get one with 512 GB of storage for$ 549/€ 569, or with 1 TB for$ 649/€ 679. The 256 GB LCD model has also received a price cut to$ 399/€ 419 and will remain on sale as the entry-  position option, while the 64 GB and 512 GB LCD versions are being phased out.   




  They are not out of stock just yet,  however, so if you want one, you need to hurry. The 64 GB model goes for$ 349/€ 369 and the 512 GB unit can be yours for$ 449/€ 469.  The new Steam Deck OLED has 1280x800 resolution from its7.4"  slant( that's ever so slightly larger than the LCD's 7"), 90 Hz refresh rate, a 6 nm APU, 16 GB of 6400 MHz LPDDR5 RAM, support for Wi- Fi 6E and Bluetooth5.3, and a 50Wh battery that should last for 3- 12 hours of gameplay, which Steam says is 30- 50  further than the LCD models. The Steam Deck OLED weighs 30g  lower than the LCD version. You get a 45W power  force with a2.5 m  string too, and a carrying case bundled.
